Safety/Environment

The construction industry is a dangerous environment and at Urbanique we seek to do everything we can to protect all that is associated with a construction or building contract. This includes not just the site personnel, but visitors, the public and the environment. We have in place active policies and procedures to ensure that we do all that is possible to reduce the risk of injury, contamination or damage to persons or the environment.

Practising safety and environmental awareness is no use without the training and knowledge needed to understand the implications of one’s actions; we therefore insist and aid our contractors to use proper tradesmen and professionals to carry out work. This provides for a safe and efficient workflow and contrary to the thoughts of some actually speeds up construction times.

Education/Training

Our aim is to constantly improve our knowledge of new materials and methods of construction, we regularly seek information from publications, exhibitions and our involvement with industry associations to maintain our service commitment. We can use this not to profit from, but to assist clients when working together. We feel that the trust gained during a project should be maintained long after its completion.
